DESCRIPTION

MDM-15SBRP-A174 is a Micro-D PCB connector designed for high-density, high-reliability board-to-board, board-to-cable, and cable-to-cable applications. This 15-contact socket (receptacle) connector features 90° right angle board mount termination with a .050" (1.27 mm) contact spacing and .100" x .100" (2.54 mm x 2.54 mm) grid pattern offset by .050" (1.27 mm). The connector utilizes a Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) insulator and an electroless nickel (A174) shell finish. Key electrical specifications include dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level, insulation resistance of 5,000 megohms minimum, and contact resistance of 8 milliohms maximum at 3 amps. The connector is suitable for use with flex circuitry, flat cable, and printed circuit boards in demanding environments requiring durability up to 500 mating cycles.
