DESCRIPTION

MDM-51PBSPTL61-A174 is a 51-contact Micro-D PCB connector designed for high-density, high-reliability board-to-board, board-to-cable, and cable-to-cable applications. This plug connector features pin contacts with straight board mount termination and a 0.050" (1.27 mm) contact spacing, utilizing a Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) insulator material. The connector offers an electroless nickel shell finish (A174) and meets rigorous environmental specifications including dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level, insulation resistance of 5,000 megohms minimum, and thermal shock resistance from -55°C to +125°C. It is rated for 500 mating cycles and provides contact resistance of 8 milliohms maximum at 3 amps. This connector is ideal for use with flex circuitry, flat cable, printed circuit boards, and multi-layer boards in demanding aerospace, military, and industrial applications.
