DESCRIPTION

MDM-9SBSPTL39 is a Micro-D metal shell PCB connector featuring 9 socket (receptacle) contacts designed for high-density, high-reliability board-to-board, board-to-cable, and cable-to-cable applications. This connector utilizes a Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) insulator material and features straight (BS) PCB termination with a modified tail length of 0.250 inches (6.35 mm). It includes threaded insert mounting hardware (#2-56 thread) and offers a 0.050-inch contact spacing with a 0.100 x 0.100 inch grid pattern. The connector is rated for 600 VAC dielectric withstanding voltage at sea level, 5,000 megohms minimum insulation resistance, and withstands thermal shock from -55°C to +125°C. Common applications include flex circuitry, flat cable, and printed circuit board interconnections where space-saving and reliable performance are required.
