DESCRIPTION

The MS3116F8-2S is a straight plug connector from the MIL-C-26482 Series I family, designed for general-purpose military and industrial applications requiring quick-disconnect capability with fixed solder-terminated contacts. This connector features a shell size 8 configuration with 8 contact positions and is classified as Type F, incorporating a grommet seal with strain relief for enhanced environmental protection. The connector accommodates wire sizes from 12 to 24 AWG with solder termination, supporting contact sizes 20 and 16 with rated currents of 7.5 A and 22.0 A respectively, and operates at maximum voltages of 600 V AC (Service 1) and 850 V DC at sea level.
