DESCRIPTION

The 249-1825-001 is a Size 12 coaxial pin contact designed for use in MIL-C-83733 DPK cord-to-panel connectors with 71C15 layout configuration. This shielded contact is engineered to accommodate RG-179U cable with a minimum/maximum cable diameter of 0.081 inches (2.06 mm), providing reliable signal transmission in demanding environments. The contact utilizes M22520/5-01 outer crimp tooling and M22520/5-08 outer locator specifications, ensuring proper termination and positioning within the connector assembly. It is compatible with receptacle connectors featuring 71C15P inserts and includes a yellow grommet sealing plug (part number 225-0072-000) for environmental protection. This contact is ideal for military and aerospace applications requiring high-reliability shielded interconnections with precise polarization control.
