DESCRIPTION

The 108-1702-101 is an insulated solderless banana plug designed for fast, dependable connections in low-voltage applications. It features a brass plug body with nickel silver spring and nickel finish, combined with a nylon 6/6 insulated handle that is UL approved for self-extinguishing properties. The plug utilizes a side set screw mechanism to secure wire connections up to 16 gauge without soldering, providing reliable contact with a maximum contact resistance of 0.010 ohms. With a rated current capacity of 15 amps and breakdown voltage of 35 Vrms minimum, this connector is suitable for standard banana jack applications rated at 50 WVDC. The solderless design and set screw fastening make it ideal for laboratory equipment, test instruments, and low-voltage power distribution systems where quick, secure connections are essential.
