DESCRIPTION

The 133-8701-201 is an MCX 75 ohm vertical PC mount jack connector designed for RF and microwave applications. It features a brass body with nickel and copper plating, beryllium contacts with nickel and copper plating, and a Teflon insulator, providing excellent electrical performance and durability. The connector operates across a frequency range of 0–6 GHz with a maximum working voltage of 335 VRMS at sea level and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VRMS minimum. Key mechanical characteristics include an engagement force of 5.6 lbs maximum, a disengagement force of 10 lbs minimum, and a contact retention force of 2.3 lbs minimum, with a durability rating of 300 cycles minimum. The connector maintains an insulation resistance of 1000 megohm minimum and exhibits excellent environmental performance across operating temperatures from -65°C to +165°C, making it suitable for demanding aerospace, military, and telecommunications applications.
