DESCRIPTION

The 142-0004-206 is a shielded cable termination connector designed for flexible RG-316 DS and RG-188 DS coaxial cables with straight crimp-type termination. This nickel-plated connector features a two-piece design consisting of a connector body and crimp sleeve, with a crimp hex dimension of 0.151 inches (3.83 mm) and a dimension "A" of 0.312 inches (7.92 mm). The connector body has a diameter of 0.312 inches (7.92 mm) and includes four mounting holes of 0.067 inches (1.70 mm) diameter, while the crimp sleeve has an outer diameter of 0.025 inches (0.64 mm). The termination process involves stripping the cable to specified dimensions, twisting and tinning the center conductor, and crimping the sleeve securely over the braid using a recommended crimp tool. This connector is ideal for RF and microwave applications requiring reliable shielded cable connections with excellent electrical performance and durability.
