DESCRIPTION

The 142-1901-821 is an SMA Jack to Quick Connect Plug Adapter designed to convert standard SMA plug test cables into quick-connect cables for efficient testing. It features a push-and-twist connection mechanism that achieves full MIL-PRF-39012 electrical compatibility, with rapid disconnect accomplished via a twist-and-pull motion. The adapter supports frequencies up to 18 GHz and is engineered to withstand up to 1000 mating cycles, ensuring robust mechanical performance. The knurled thumbnut requires only one half to one full turn to create a solid electromechanical connection. This adapter is ideal for test and measurement lab equipment and instrumentation test fixture hardware, where rapid cable connections and disconnections are essential for improving testing efficiency.
