The 3005CR is a full-cycle ratcheting crimper designed to crimp insulated terminals onto 10–22 AWG stranded copper wire with consistent, uniform results. The tool features three crimping cavities with color-coded wire markings: red for 22–16 AWG, blue for 16–14 AWG, and yellow for 12–10 AWG terminals, allowing single-tool operation across multiple terminal sizes. The built-in ratchet mechanism ensures full-cycle crimping every time, while the compound lever-action design with narrow-span handles delivers high crimping power with low user effort and maintains high terminal pull-off force.
