DESCRIPTION

The 8261SHZQE2 is a DPDT (double-pole double-throw) pushbutton switch from the 8060 Series designed for alternate action and momentary switching applications. It features a coin silver contact material with silver plating, copper alloy center contacts and terminals also silver plated, and an epoxy terminal seal compatible with bottom-wash PCB cleaning methods. The switch delivers a contact rating of 6 amps at 120 V AC or 28 V DC (3 amps at 250 V AC), with contact resistance below 20 mO typical at 2–4 V DC and 100 mA, and an electrical life of 50,000 make-and-break cycles at full load. Operating temperature range is -30°C to 65°C, with dielectric strength of 1,000 Vrms minimum at sea level and insulation resistance of 10? O minimum. This switch is ideal for instrumentation, computers and peripherals, and telecommunications equipment where reliable switching performance and long operational life are required.
