DESCRIPTION

PVRD is a short-stroke key switch from C&K Components designed for momentary or push-push operation in medium-power applications. The switch features a compact design with total travel of 2.4 mm and electrical travel of 0.8 mm (1.1 mm for certain configurations), offering selectable operating forces of 1.2 N, 1.7 N, or 3.5 N to suit different actuation requirements. Electrically, the PVRD supports a maximum switching power of 3 W DC at 32 V DC with a maximum current of 100 mA DC, and provides excellent contact reliability with initial contact resistance of =100 mO and insulation resistance of =10¹° O. The switch is RoHS compliant, operates reliably across -40°C to +85°C, and achieves operating life of =1×105 operations for momentary mode or =1×10? operations for push-push mode. Typical applications include automotive systems (air conditioning, lighting), industrial control panels, and other environments requiring dependable, compact switching solutions.
