DESCRIPTION
SDS002RULC is a normally closed side-actuated detect switch manufactured by C&K Components, featuring ultra-low current capabilities optimized for sensitive detection applications. The switch delivers a low actuation force of 75 grams maximum and maintains a compact 2 mm profile above the PCB with 2 mm overtravel, making it ideal for space-constrained designs. Key electrical specifications include a minimum current rating of 10 µA at 1.8 VDC for the ULC version, contact resistance of 100 mO maximum, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C with 50,000 cycles of mechanical and electrical life. The device is constructed with a glass-filled LCP base (UL 94V-0), phosphor bronze movable contacts, and nickel silver cover with silver plating. SDS002RULC is ideal for medical devices, consumer electronics, IoT devices, and ATCA/MicroTCA applications where reliable low-current detection is required.
