DESCRIPTION
SFS120003 is a mid-travel, soft sound tactile switch designed for applications requiring reliable momentary action switching. The switch features a standard 12×12 mm overall dimension with gold-plated contacts and is available in three operating force options: 360 gf, 680 gf, and 970 gf, each with corresponding travel distances of 0.6 mm, 0.7 mm, and 0.8 mm respectively. Electrically, it supports a maximum voltage of 35 VDC, maximum current of 100 mA, and maximum power of 1 W, with a contact resistance of 100 mO and insulation resistance of 1000 MO minimum. The switch offers exceptional durability with 300,000 cycles operating life under load and 1,000,000 cycles without load, operating reliably across temperatures from -40°C to 90°C. It is commonly used in measurement and control systems, automotive applications (steering wheel, mid-console, window lifter), medical devices, and patient monitoring systems.
