DESCRIPTION

TFCDH8ST1340C is a miniature snap-acting switch from the TF Series designed for applications requiring reliable switching with high electrical ratings. The switch features an H8 electrical rating of 5 A at 277 V AC, 1/10 HP at 125 and 250 V AC, with a maximum contact rating up to 21 AMPS across the product line. It incorporates a standard mounting style for 4-40 screw size with thermoplastic housing (UL 94V-0) and offers broad operating force options ranging from 15 to 400 grams. The switch delivers 300,000 electrical cycles at 10 AMPS @ 250 V AC, with an insulation resistance of 1,000 MO minimum and dielectric strength of 1,500 Vrms at sea level. Operating temperature range spans -40°C to 85°C, making it suitable for motor controls, thermostatic applications, and portable tools where compact, durable switching is essential.
