DESCRIPTION

BTNK0170 is a sealed tactile switch from the KSA & KSL Series, featuring SPST normally-open contact arrangement with IP60 sealing level and double overmolding on terminals for enhanced durability. The switch offers multiple operating force options ranging from 1.3 N (130 grams) to 5.0 N (500 grams) with corresponding operating life cycles from 100,000 to 1,000,000 operations, and travel-to-make distances between 0.5 mm and 0.7 mm depending on the selected configuration. Available with either silver or gold contacts, the switch supports manual bulk packaging or automatic tube packaging (65 pieces per tube) insertion methods, with optional ground terminal capability. Electrical specifications include maximum voltage of 32 VDC, maximum current of 50 mA (silver) or 10 mA (gold), contact resistance = 100 mO, and dielectric strength of 250 Vrms. This sealed switch is ideal for applications requiring reliable tactile feedback in harsh environments, including automotive systems, industrial control panels, and telecommunication network equipment.
