DESCRIPTION

The HE3621A0500 is a miniature single-in-line (S.I.L.) relay designed for automatic test equipment (ATE) and other demanding environments requiring compact, high-density packaging. It features a normally-open Form A (SPST-NO) contact configuration with external magnetic shielding and coil suppression diode to protect drive circuits. The relay operates at a nominal coil voltage of 5 VDC with a coil resistance of 500 O (±10%), a must-operate voltage of 3.75 VDC, and a maximum coil voltage of 14 VDC. Contact ratings include 10 W switching power at 200 VDC maximum with 0.5 A switching current and 1.2 A carry current, with an initial contact resistance of 0.150 O maximum and insulation resistance of 10¹° O minimum. The relay operates and releases in 1.0 ms maximum, maintains voltage hold-off of 250 VDC across open contacts and 1500 VAC between isolated terminals, and is rated for -40 °C to +85 °C operating temperature with storage to +105 °C. It withstands 20 g vibration (10–2000 Hz) and 50 g shock (11 ms, ½ sine), making it ideal for telecom, security, instrumentation, and process control applications where reliability and space efficiency are critical.
