DESCRIPTION

The SSL-LX5093LGD is a Quasar Brite T-5mm (T-1.3/4) green LED with a 565 nm peak wavelength and green diffused epoxy lens finish, designed for low-current applications. It features a typical forward voltage of 2.2 V (maximum 2.6 V) at 20 mA, a reverse voltage rating of 5.0 V, and an axial intensity of 30 mcd at 20 mA forward current with a 60° viewing angle (2× theta). The device is rated for a peak forward current of 150 mA (pulse, t < 10 µs) and a steady current of 25 mA, with a maximum power dissipation of 105 mW at 25 °C and a derating of 1.2 mW/°C above that temperature. Operating and storage temperature ranges are -40 °C to +85 °C, with a soldering temperature limit of 260 °C for 3 seconds at 2.0 mm from the body. This LED is commonly used in indicator applications, display panels, and low-power signaling circuits where green illumination and compact form factor are required.
