DESCRIPTION

The 1423553 is a power terminal block designed for industrial power distribution applications, rated for 175 amps at 600 volts AC/DC per UL 1059 and CSA 22.2 No. 158 standards. It accommodates line-side wire sizes from 2/0 to #14 AWG (stranded copper) and load-side termination via 1/4-20 tapped holes with listed lugs, featuring a short circuit current rating (SCCR) of 10,000 A as default with potential for up to 100,000 A depending on conductor and overcurrent protection configuration. The connector terminals are aluminum with tin plating, rated at 75°C for copper or aluminum wire, with the phenolic insulator base rated UL94V0 and operating from -40°C to +150°C. This terminal block is UL recognized, CSA certified, and CE compliant to IEC 60947-7-1, making it suitable for factory and field wiring in industrial control panels, power distribution systems, and motor control applications where reliable high-current connections are required.
