The MDS02N-15N is a 2W isolated and unregulated medical-grade DC-DC converter designed to provide a single 15V output from a nominal 24V input voltage range of 21.6V to 26.4V. It operates with a typical efficiency of 85% and features a high I/O isolation of 6KVDC, ensuring compliance with ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 medical safety standards (2xMOOP). Key protections include a very low patient leakage current of less than 2μA and short-circuit protection.
