DESCRIPTION

The N78018-2C is a high-efficiency, 2A non-isolated DC-DC switching regulator designed as a pin-compatible replacement for LM78xx linear regulators. It operates over a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 28V to deliver a regulated 1.8V output at up to 2000mA. This model features an efficiency of 83% at minimum input voltage, low ripple and noise, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C without requiring a heatsink. Integrated protections against short circuits, overload, and over-temperature ensure robust operation. Its compact size and high efficiency make it ideal for upgrading power supplies in industrial controls, data communications, and various point-of-load applications.
