DESCRIPTION

The N7803-2C is a high-efficiency, non-isolated DC-DC switching regulator designed to provide a negative output voltage as a replacement for LM79xx series linear regulators. It accepts a wide input voltage range from 8V to 31V and delivers a fixed -3.3V output with a current capacity of up to -1000mA. This regulator operates with an efficiency of 85% at minimum input voltage and features low ripple and noise of 100mVp-p maximum. It is designed for a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C without a heatsink and includes built-in short circuit, overload, and over-temperature protections. Common applications include industrial controls, telecommunications, and point-of-load regulation in distributed power systems.
