DESCRIPTION

The N7803-2CH is a high-efficiency, non-isolated DC-DC switching regulator designed to be a pin-compatible replacement for LM79xx series linear regulators. It accepts a wide input voltage from 8V to 31V and delivers a fixed negative output of -3.3V with a current capacity of up to -1000mA. This regulator operates with 85% efficiency and features built-in protections for short circuits, overload, and over-temperature conditions. Its wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and high efficiency eliminate the need for an external heatsink, making it suitable for industrial controls, data communications, and point-of-load regulation in distributed power systems.
