DESCRIPTION

The N7805-2CW is a high-efficiency, non-isolated DC-DC switching regulator designed as a compact, pin-compatible replacement for LM78xx series linear regulators. It accepts a wide input voltage from 8V to 32V DC and delivers a fixed 5V output with a current capacity of up to 2000mA. With an efficiency of 92%, it operates without the need for a heatsink over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The device features low ripple and noise, and includes built-in protections for short circuits, overload, and over-temperature conditions. Its wire-cased package makes it suitable for various applications, including industrial controls, data communications, and point-of-load regulation in distributed power systems.
