DESCRIPTION

The N78065-2CW is a high-efficiency, non-isolated DC-DC switching regulator designed as a replacement for traditional LM78xx linear regulators. It accepts a wide input voltage range from 10V to 32V to deliver a fixed 6.5V output at up to 2000mA. With a high efficiency of 92%, it minimizes power loss and can operate without an external heatsink across a wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The device also features low ripple and noise, and includes integrated protections against short circuits, overloads, and over-temperature events. Its compact, wire-casing design makes it ideal for applications like industrial PCs, microcontroller systems, and point-of-load regulation in distributed power systems.
