DESCRIPTION

The 1005-572, also known as the DCM1500, is a True RMS clamp meter designed for measuring high-current AC and DC electrical systems. It provides measurement ranges up to 1500 A for both AC and DC current, 750 V for AC voltage, and 1000 V for DC voltage. Its True RMS capability ensures accurate readings on non-sinusoidal waveforms, and the large jaw accommodates conductors up to 51 mm in size. The meter also measures resistance, continuity, and frequency, and includes functions like peak hold, min/max, and data-hold. This instrument is ideal for the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of large electrical systems, power generation equipment, and automotive circuits, offering a safety rating of IEC 61010-1 CAT IV 600 V.
