DESCRIPTION

The LAN8187I-JT is a single-chip 10/100 Ethernet Physical Layer Transceiver (PHY) designed for high-performance embedded applications requiring an industrial operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C. It supports both Media Independent Interface (MII) and Reduced Media Independent Interface (RMII) for flexible MAC connectivity. The device features robust ESD protection up to ±15kV for air discharge and incorporates HP Auto-MDIX for automatic cable configuration. Its flexPWR® technology provides a flexible power management architecture, including a variable I/O voltage range from +1.6V to +3.6V and an integrated 3.3V to 1.8V regulator for optional single-supply operation. This transceiver is well-suited for a wide array of applications such as industrial networking, set-top boxes, network printers, and embedded telecom systems.
