DESCRIPTION

The MCP2003BT-E/SN is a LIN transceiver providing a bidirectional, half-duplex physical interface for automotive and industrial communication systems. It is compliant with LIN bus specifications 1.3, 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, SAE J2602, and ISO17987, supporting baud rates up to 20 Kbaud. The device operates on a wide supply voltage range from 5.5V to 30.0V and is designed for the automotive environment with 60V load dump protection and an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. It integrates high electromagnetic immunity (EMI), high electrostatic discharge (ESD) immunity, and internal short-circuit and overtemperature protection. Designed specifically for robust operation, this transceiver is ideal for implementing reliable LIN nodes in vehicles and industrial control networks.
