DESCRIPTION
The MCP2544FDT-E/MNY is a CAN FD transceiver that serves as the interface between a CAN protocol controller and the physical two-wire CAN bus. It is designed to support both CAN 2.0 and high-speed CAN FD protocols with data rates optimized for 2, 5, and 8 Mbps, featuring a maximum propagation delay of 120 ns. This device includes a wake-up on CAN activity function with a maximum filter time of 3.6 µs and maintains a very low standby current of 4 µA (typical). The MCP2544FD variant does not have a VIO pin, as its digital I/O supply is internally connected to VDD. Suitable for 12V and 24V systems, it is ideal for robust automotive and industrial network applications.
