DESCRIPTION

The MIC94070YC6-TR is a high-side load switch designed for an operating voltage range of 1.7V to 5.5V. It contains a low on-resistance P-channel MOSFET that supports 1.2A of continuous current and features a rapid turn-on time. Key characteristics include a typical on-resistance of 120 mΩ, a low quiescent current of 2µA, and a shutdown current under 1µA. The device's built-in level shift circuitry allows low voltage logic signals to control higher supply voltages. Its features make it well-suited for power management in battery-powered systems, including 1-cell Lithium-ion and 2- to 3-cell NiMH/NiCad/Alkaline applications, where it helps to maximize battery life.
