DESCRIPTION
The SG1845Y-883B is a current-mode PWM controller that provides the necessary features to implement off-line, fixed-frequency, current-mode switching power supplies. It features a low start-up current of less than 1mA, pulse-by-pulse current limiting, and an undervoltage lockout threshold of 8.4V. The high-current totem-pole output is optimized to directly drive a power MOSFET gate, and an internal toggle flip-flop limits the maximum duty cycle to less than 50%. The device includes an internally trimmed bandgap reference with ±1% accuracy and supports operation up to 500kHz. Specified for the military temperature range of -55°C to 125°C, the SG1845Y-883B is ideal for high-reliability power conversion applications in demanding environments.
