DESCRIPTION

The R-666994, model SOU-242HNT, is a side-click type tactile switch. It features a 1.6N operating force with a travel distance of 0.2mm and is supplied without a mounting boss. This SPST switch is rated for a resistive load of DC 12V at 50mA, has a contact resistance of 1Ω or less, and an operational life of 100,000 cycles. Constructed with a stainless steel dome for durability and a positive click feel, it is suitable for SMT reflow soldering. Its small mounting area makes it ideal for use in smartphones, digital cameras, gaming devices, and other small consumer or medical electronics.
