DESCRIPTION

The C300K6R3E is a fixed power resistor from the Corrib® 280 series, providing a resistance of 6.3Ω with a ±10% tolerance. This heavy-duty component is rated for 300W and features a lead-free vitreous enamel coating over a tubular ceramic core, with ribbed construction to aid in rapid cooling. It is designed to handle an overload of 10 times its rated wattage for 5 seconds and has a temperature coefficient of ±400 ppm/°C. The resistor's high current capacity and low ohmic value make it ideal for demanding applications such as motor starting and dynamic braking.
