DESCRIPTION

The FXMA2102L8X is a high-performance, configurable dual-voltage-supply translator for bi-directional voltage translation in I2C-Bus compliant systems. It allows for voltage translation between any two levels from 1.65 V to 5.5 V, with the A port tracking VCCA and the B port tracking VCCB. The device operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and features automatic direction sensing, which eliminates the need for a separate direction control pin. It supports Standard-Mode and Fast-Mode I2C devices, clock stretching, and multi-master systems, making it ideal for applications requiring I2C bus isolation, buffer/repeater functionality, and level shifting between different voltage domains.
