DESCRIPTION

The FXMAR2104UMX is a 4-bit, high-performance, configurable dual-voltage supply translator for bi-directional voltage translation in open-drain and push-pull environments. It facilitates communication between any two voltage levels from 1.65V to 5.5V without requiring a direction control signal, as the A port tracks VCCA and the B port tracks VCCB. The device features automatic direction sensing, internal 10KΩ pull-up resistors, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Its non-preferential power-up allows either supply rail to be powered first, and outputs enter a 3-state condition if either supply is at ground. The FXMAR2104 is ideal for applications using the I2C-Bus interface, supporting features like clock stretching, multi-master systems, and bus isolation.
