DESCRIPTION

The MM74HC595MTCX is an 8-bit serial-in, parallel-out shift register that feeds an eight-bit D-type storage register. This high-speed device utilizes advanced silicon-gate CMOS technology, offering high noise immunity and low power consumption across a wide operating voltage range of 2V to 6V. It features separate positive-edge triggered clocks for the shift and storage registers, a direct-overriding clear, and a guaranteed shift frequency from DC to 30 MHz. With cascadable functionality and 3-state parallel outputs, it is ideal for applications requiring I/O expansion, such as driving LED displays and interfacing with microcontrollers.
