MOC3041VM
The MOC3041VM is a 6-pin DIP zero-cross triac driver output optocoupler for interfacing logic systems to AC power lines. ...
DESCRIPTION
The MOC3041VM is a zero-crossing triac driver optocoupler, consisting of a GaAs infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a monolithic silicon detector. It features a high peak blocking voltage of 400 V and a guaranteed static dv/dt of at least 1000 V/µs, with a typical value of 2000 V/µs. The device requires a maximum LED trigger current of 15 mA to latch the output. Its integrated zero-crossing circuit minimizes conducted and radiated line noise by switching the external triac at or near the AC line's zero-voltage point. This optocoupler is designed for use with a triac to control equipment powered from 115/240 VAC lines in applications like solid-state relays, industrial controls, motors, and lighting controls.
