DESCRIPTION
The MOCD207R2M is a dual-channel phototransistor output optocoupler designed for high-density surface mount applications. This device consists of two gallium arsenide infrared emitting diodes optically coupled to two monolithic silicon phototransistor detectors within a convenient SOIC-8 package. It features a guaranteed minimum collector-emitter breakdown voltage (BVCEO) of 70 V and a current transfer ratio (CTR) ranging from 100% to 200% with a 10 mA input forward current. The optocoupler provides an isolation voltage of 2,500 VACRMS for one minute, ensuring reliable circuit separation. Common applications include feedback control circuits, interfacing systems of different potentials, general-purpose switching, and monitor and detection circuits.
