DESCRIPTION

The PN2222ABU is a general-purpose NPN silicon transistor designed for medium-current amplification and switching. It features a maximum collector-emitter voltage of 40 V, a continuous collector current rating of 600 mA, and a total device dissipation of 625 mW. This device provides a minimum current-gain-bandwidth product of 300 MHz and a DC current gain (hFE) between 100 and 300 at a collector current of 150 mA. Due to its balanced specifications, the PN2222ABU is widely used in driver stages, low-power output stages, and various signal processing circuits.
