DESCRIPTION

The ERZ-VF2M680 is a VF series surface-mount surge absorber designed to protect electronic circuits from transient overvoltages. It has a nominal varistor voltage of 68V, a maximum allowable voltage of 40Vrms (56VDC), and a low clamping voltage of 135V at 2.5A. This component is capable of withstanding a maximum peak surge current of 125A and has a maximum energy rating of 2.5J. Its compact size and design for reflow soldering make it ideal for protecting communication modules, consumer electronics, and industrial equipment from switching surges.
