DESCRIPTION

The MUSS100-02-D_E is a MAS-CON Series 100 header connector featuring a 2.54 mm pitch with 180° unbreakable construction, integrated locking mechanism, and polarization to ensure correct mating orientation. This 2-position connector is rated for 3.0 A continuous current with a maximum contact resistance of 20 mO and withstands 1000 V AC for one minute, maintaining an insulation resistance of 1000 MO minimum. The connector operates reliably across -40 °C to +105 °C and is constructed from copper alloy contacts with tin-nickel plating (gold plating available upon request) and PA66 GF insulator material rated UL94 V-0. The header is designed for wave soldering with a peak temperature of 235 ± 5 °C and is commonly used in industrial control systems, consumer electronics, and automotive applications where secure, polarized connections are required.
