DESCRIPTION

The 4897-2 is a red, solderless banana plug designed for do-it-yourself test lead assembly. It features a gold-plated brass body and a gold-plated beryllium copper spring for durability and is compatible with 18 to 22 AWG wire. The plug is rated for a maximum current of 15 Amperes and has an operating voltage of 30VAC/60VDC for hand-held testing, or up to 5000 WVDC in controlled environments. Its vertical stackup capability offers test versatility, while an integral safety collar provides wire insulation and strain relief.
