DESCRIPTION

The CEM-1201S is a magnetic buzzer transducer designed for externally driven audio signaling in compact electronic applications. It operates at a rated voltage of 1.5 Vo-p with an operating voltage range of 1.0 to 3.0 Vo-p, consuming a maximum of 40 mA at rated voltage with a 2,400 Hz square wave at 50% duty cycle. The device delivers a sound pressure level of 80 to 88 dBA at 10 cm (A-weighted), with a coil resistance of 13 to 19 O, and features a compact through-hole design measuring Ø12.0 × 9.5 mm with a weight of 1.6 g. Constructed from PBT material with gold-plated pin terminals and rated for operating temperatures from -20°C to +60°C, the CEM-1201S is ideal for alarm systems, notification devices, and consumer electronics requiring reliable audio feedback with low power consumption and washable construction.
