DESCRIPTION

CMT-8504-100-SMT-TR is a surface-mount magnetic buzzer transducer designed for audio signaling applications requiring high sound output. It features a rated voltage of 5.0 Vo-p with an operating voltage range of 1.0 to 6.0 Vo-p, and delivers a minimum sound pressure level of 100 dB at 10 cm when driven at the rated frequency of 4,000 Hz with a ½ duty square wave. The device has a coil resistance of 12–18 O (typical 15 O), maximum current consumption of 150 mA at rated voltage, and operates reliably across temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. With compact dimensions of 8.5 × 8.5 × 4.0 mm, LCP housing material, and brass surface-mount terminals, this transducer is ideal for embedded alarm systems, notification devices, and portable electronics where space and acoustic performance are critical.
