DESCRIPTION

AMT312C-V is a modular commutation encoder designed for brushless DC motor applications, featuring patented capacitive ASIC technology and U, V, W commutation phase channels. It offers programmable quadrature resolutions up to 4096 PPR and supports 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, or 20 motor poles, with settings configurable via AMT Viewpoint™ PC software. The encoder operates from a 4.5V to 5.5V power supply with typical current consumption of 16 mA, and features a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. With commutation line driver output (A, B, Z, U, V, W, W¯ channels), radial cable connection orientation, and a compact modular package with locking hub, this encoder provides ease of installation and reliable performance in demanding motor control applications.
