The UJ31-CH-31N-SMT-TR is a USB Type-C receptacle connector that complies with USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard and supports 10 Gbit/s data transfer speeds. This surface mount component features a back cover without solder terminals and is designed for reflow solder compatibility with tape and reel packaging. The connector is rated for a maximum input voltage of 20 Vdc and supports rated input currents of 5.0 A on power pins (A4, A9, B4, B9), 6.25 A on ground pins (A1, A12, B1, B12), 1.25 A on VCONN pins (A5, B5), and 0.25 A on all other signal pins. The connector exhibits a contact resistance of 40 mO between terminals and mating plug, an insulation resistance of 100 MO at 100 Vdc, and a voltage withstand rating of 100 Vac at 60 Hz. With an insertion force range of 5–20 N and withdrawal force range of 8–20 N, the connector is rated for 10,000 mating cycles at a maximum rate of 200 cycles per hour.
