DESCRIPTION

The UP31-CV-G-CM is a USB Type-C plug connector designed for high-speed data and power applications. It supports the USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard with a data transfer speed of 10 Gbit/s and is rated for a maximum input voltage of 20 Vdc. The connector features reflow solder compatibility and is constructed with copper alloy contact terminals plated with 2 µ" gold, a stainless steel shell with nickel plating, and an LCP internal body with PA9T housing. Key electrical specifications include a rated input current of 5.0 A on power pins collectively, 6.25 A on ground pins collectively, and 1.25 A on VCONN pins individually, with a contact resistance of 40 mO and an insulation resistance of 100 MO. The connector is rated for 10,000 insertion/withdrawal cycles and operates reliably across a temperature range of -30°C to +85°C, making it suitable for consumer electronics, data transfer devices, and industrial applications requiring robust USB connectivity.
