DESCRIPTION

The 1001212 is a transparent, 12" x 12" open-top static shielding bag from the 3M SCC 1000 series, engineered to provide a static-safe environment for sensitive electronics. It features a four-layer, 3-mil thick construction with a polyester dielectric and a metal layer that creates a Faraday effect shield, offering static shielding of less than 30 volts. The specially processed polyethylene interior minimizes tribocharging, and the bag exhibits a static decay time of less than 2 seconds. This bag is ideal for packaging and transporting electronic devices, meeting ANSI/ESD S541 and S20.20 compliance standards to ensure component safety.
