DESCRIPTION

The 3050 is a 3/8" (10 mm) female snap connector featuring a prong clinch style design for secure attachment to static control mats. This snap is held in place by pushing the prongs through the mat and crimping them on the bottom, creating a reliable mechanical and electrical connection. The connector is constructed from nickel-plated brass, providing excellent electrical conductivity and long service life in static dissipative applications. The 3050 is commonly used in electrostatic discharge (ESD) control systems to connect ground cords to static mats, ensuring safe dissipation of static charges in sensitive electronic manufacturing and assembly environments.
