DESCRIPTION
The SAR-M is a stat-A-REST™ Foot Grounder, a medium-sized ESD footwear component designed to establish a reliable path-to-ground for removing electrostatic charges during handling of ESD-sensitive items. It features a non-marring thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) base with a 30-inch conductive 8-strand nylon polyester grounding tab that connects the wearer to ESD flooring systems. The SAR-M meets ANSI/ESD S20.20 compliance requirements with point-to-ground resistance of less than 1 × 10? ohms per ESD SP9.2 and ESD TR53, and footwear/flooring system resistance of less than 3.5 × 107 ohms per ANSI/ESD STM97.1. With dimensions of 10.25 inches in length and 3.75 inches in width, it is sized for women's shoe sizes 8.5–10.5 and men's shoe sizes 6.5–8.5, making it suitable for standard shoe installation. The SAR-M is ideal for use in controlled ESD environments such as electronics manufacturing, assembly operations, and cleanrooms where personnel must maintain continuous grounding while handling sensitive components.
